Preschool Counting Farm Magnetic Book

Help your child learn to count with magnetic fun! Read your child the rhyming clues in Preschool Counting Farm, and let the thinking—and counting--begin. Look at the animals on a page, and say the numbers as you count them. Help your child say the numbers as he or she places the magnetic pieces on the Counting Squares. Ask your child to say how many there are altogether. Lay out all the magnetic numbers in front of your preschooler and ask him or her to choose the correct number and place it on the Number Square. Or try starting with one playing piece, and then add one more. Then ask, “How many are there now?” Using magnetic numbers 1-10, kids get practice in thinking, listening, and counting. In another activity, your preschooler counts the animals, finds the matching number or picture magnets, and places them on the Counting Squares. The last two pages form a “board” for using the pieces in creative variations.
