My 8-year-old loves the challenge of mazes, and it helps his fine motor skills develop, which hopefully is translating into better handwriting. The mazes were challenging enough to be interesting, but not impossible or too hard.
As with most kids, my son loves computer/video games—pretty much anything is more interesting if it's on the screen. So if it's something that helps him learn, he loves it, and I love it.
