My son is actually eager to sit down and learn with this workbook!
I bought this workbook for my son this summer so he could get a headstart on cursive writing before starting the 3rd grade. He had been bugging me to teach him cursive writing and I'm so glad I bought this workbook because I never realized how much I had strayed from writing proper cursive - without this book I probably would have taught him many of the letters incorrectly. My son was so excited to get this workbook but as soon as he started, he seemed to be struggling with recognizing some of the letters in cursive form. Amazingly, after only one day and after only doing about the first 6 pages, he could already fluently read entire sentences written in cursive. He told me that he can't wait for the teacher to start teaching them cursive so he can show off everything he already knows!
