Get out and explore nature with a scavenger hunt

Yes, it might be a little hot out this summer, but it doesn’t mean that you can’t have fun exploring the great outdoors! Take your kids out in the early morning or mid-evening to beat the heat while having some fun on a nature scavenger hunt.

A scavenger hunt is a perfect outdoor activity to help your children connect with and interact with the world around them.

This list has common nature items, and asks them to think outside the box and find objects that have different textures or different colors. On your next trip to the park (or even in your own backyard) grab this scavenger hunt and a paper bag to collect all of the items to get exploring. (Recommended ages: 4-6)
