In this Read Me document, you will find the following:

Directions for the Activities and Software:  
  Introduction: 
  This software uses a variety of methods to review, teach, and reinforce kindergarten skills. Type your name, and then click OK. The Kindergarten Clubhouse has characters behind each of the doors. A character appears when you click on a door. You can try a dot-to-dot activity by clicking the top purple doors. Manheim Monkey will introduce you to the activity. The door in the fence opens to reveal a joke-telling Odel Otter. Each time you click the door, you will hear a different joke. Click the birdhouse to see a funny egg animation. Mindy Mouse behind the pink door will take you to the movie selections. Click the blue octagonal door to meet Terrence Turtle and enter the art studio. Or click the purple door to find Josie Jaguar, who will take you to play an educational game.
  Ending an Activity:
  After completing a game, movie, dot-to-dot, coloring screen or artwork, click the yellow exit arrow to return to the outside of the Kindergarten Clubhouse.
  Completing the Software: 
  To exit the program, click the yellow arrow on the Kindergarten Clubhouse. You will be asked if you are sure that you want to exit. Click the arrow again to exit.
 
Dot-to-Dots:  
  Introduction: 
  To try a dot-to-dot activity, click the top purple doors on the Kindergarten Clubhouse. Manheim Monkey will take you to the activity. To exit the dot-to-dot activity section, click the yellow arrow.
  Selecting a Dot-to-Dot: 
  There are arrows at the bottom of each dot-to-dot screen. Click the right arrow to go to the next screen. Click the left arrow to go to the previous screen. There are 10 dot-to-dot screens. The activity will automatically number the dots. Click the “ABC” button to see uppercase alphabet letters next to each dot. Click the “abc” button to see lowercase alphabet letters next to each dot.
  Completing a Dot-to-Dot: 
  Click the blinking red dot to begin, and then click the dots in ABC or 123 order to complete the picture. When the picture is completed, the image will animate.
 
Movies:  
  Introduction: 
  Click the pink door on the Kindergarten Clubhouse to watch movies. Mindy Mouse will take you to the movie theater. The movie choices will change as you watch the screen. Choose from 12 different movies. To exit the movie section, click the yellow arrow.
  Watching a Movie: 
  Click the picture of the movie that you would like to see. The movie will play in color and with sound. To exit the movie, click your mouse or hit any key.
 
Educational Games:  
  Introduction: 
  Click the purple door to play an educational game. Josie Jaguar will introduce you to the game. Choose games by clicking one of the buttons on the right. You can hear an instruction for the game you selected by clicking on the question mark. To exit the game section, click the yellow arrow.
  Letters: 
  Click the “Aa” button to play a game in which you match letters to letters, letters to objects or objects to objects with the same beginning sounds. Look at the letter or picture in the white box, and then move all the containers that do not match to the trash can.
  Numbers: 
  Click the “123” button to play a game in which you match number words to numbers, numbers to groups or groups to groups that show the same number. Look at the number, number word or picture in the white box, and then move all the containers that do not match to the trash can.
  Letter and Number Sequence: 
  Click the “ab_d” button to play a game in which you arrange letters or numbers in order. Look at the letters or numbers in the white box, and then move the missing letter or number from the bottom shelves to the correct space on the top shelf.
  Greater Than/Less Than: 
  Click the cherries button to play a game in which you find what is greater than or less than. Look at the number in the white box. Listen carefully to the instructions. Follow the audio directions to move objects to the trash can.
  Patterns: 
  Click the shapes button to play a game in which you provide the missing element in a pattern. Look at the shapes in the white box, and then find what is missing in the pattern. Move the missing shapes from the bottom shelves to the correct space on the top shelf.
  Rhyming: 
  Click the star/car button to play a rhyming game. Look at the picture in the white box, and then move the containers that do not rhyme to the trash can. Hold the cursor over a picture to hear the word.
 
Art Studio:  
  Introduction: 
  Click the blue octagonal door to enter the Art Studio. Terrance Turtle will introduce you to the art studio. Click the bee to use the coloring book. Click the cat to draw and paint. To exit the Art Studio, click the yellow arrow.
  Selecting a Coloring Book Screen: 
  There are arrows at the bottom of each coloring screen. Click the right arrow to go to the next screen. Click the left arrow to go to the previous screen. There are 26 coloring screens, each representing a different letter of the alphabet. The art supplies are at the bottom of the screen. To paint, click the paintbrush, and then click a color. Next, click the area that you want to paint. To fill an area with a pattern, click the roller, and then click a pattern. Next, click the area that you want to fill with a pattern. Erase the last color or pattern by clicking the spiral circle. Use the soap bottle to erase all of the colors.
  Draw and Paint: 
  The art supplies are at the bottom of the screen. Click the pencil to draw a picture. To make a shape, click the stamp tool, and then click a shape. Next, click where you want the shape to appear. Press any key to rotate the shape. To paint, click the paintbrush, and then click a color. Next, click the area that you want to paint. To fill an area with a pattern, click the roller, and then click a pattern. Next, click the area that you want to fill with a pattern. Erase the last color or pattern by clicking the spiral circle. Use the soap bottle to erase all of the colors.
  Printing Screens: 
  Click the printer to print the current screen.
